Global Trainee Program in IS

About the Program:
The GTP for Information Systems is a trainee program of 18-24 months
which allows insight into the areas of IS Service delivery, IS
Architecture and IS Sourcing. Because of its global nature this trainee
program allows you to work in 3 different countries, experience diverse
work cultures and job assignments.

The first 6 months are spent in Czech Republic. Thereafter, you will
either move to the ABB's global headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland or
one of our regional holding offices or for another 6 months. During the
second stage you can expect to gain an overview of ABB's operations and
work on a more strategic level. Finally, the third assignment will bring
you to yet another country to gain further international experience and
increase your responsibility. After successful completion of the
program, you will have the opportunity to take on a permanent position
in one of our local units.

We are looking for highly motivated, assertive individuals who are

Specifically, we are looking for individuals who can demonstrate the
following qualities:
• Recent university graduates with above average degrees in Computing,
Computer science, Information Systems/IT or related majors (MSc or
equivalent preferred)
• Excellent language skills (fluent in English required, additional
languages a plus)
• Mature, professional personality with realistic goals
• Flexible team player with good communication skills
